Failure Does Not Make You a LOSER

July 1, 2009

There was this text message sent to me by a friend.

It said:

“Keep these concepts in mind:

You’ve failed many times although you don’t remember.

You fell down the first time you tried to walk.

You almost drowned when you first tried to swim.

(*and may I add:

You fell many times before you learned how to ride a bike.

You were lost when you first tried to make you first blog or friendster account.

You rarely get perfect scores in school.

You never really found that perfect and eternal love. Yet.)

Don’t worry about failure.

Instead, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.

If you were too afraid to fail, you would never learn. You would never know how to walk, ride a bike, swim, make a cool blog, or make a perfect relationship if you didn’t try.

With failure comes a lesson. And the more lessons you know, the better you’ll play in this game of life.
